4 of the Biggest Sessions at Pocket Gamer Connects London 2020

Pocket Gamer Connects is returning to London next week on January 20th and 21st, and your chance to get tickets to one of the biggest mobile gaming conferences in Europe, if not the world, is running out fast.

2,500 delegates from across the world will converge on The Brewery for two days, with over 310 world-class speakers sharing their expert insights, analysis, and advice across 25 tracks.

It’s your chance to learn from the best, with Supercell, Rovio, King, Tencent, Wargaming, Zynga, Facebook, and even more of the biggest developers, publishers, and service providers all on hand to teach you how to get ahead in the mobile gaming industry.

Not only that, but your Pocket Gamer Connects London 2020 ticket also gives you access to two more fantastic events. Big Screen Gaming will see members of the PC, XR, and console games industry sharing their knowledge, while Blockchain Gaming LIVE! focuses on one of the most exciting advances in the industry to date.

Need more? We’ve also got speed-dating type meeting sessions in the form of SpeedMatch, the chance to fund your next project through our Investor Connector, and the always popular Global Connects Party to look forward to.

It’s all a little much to take in, so we’ve picked out four talks you really shouldn’t miss when you’re there:

  1. Pearl Abyss Showcase Their Journey To Mobile: Pearl Abyss CEO Jeonghee Jin tells us how the developer took its massively popular MMO Black Desert Online and successfully brought it onto smaller screens.
  2. Best Practices in Developing Games: Timur Haussila is a product lead at Supercell, so he knows a thing or two about making hit games. Join him as he discusses some of his insights into developing games and how to do it right.
  3. How to Find Your Unique Identity and Amplify It: Riot Forge head Leanne Loombe will provide real examples of how developers can make their mark with a unique identity, all while leveraging the benefits of a publisher to create the best possible product.
  4. Care and Craft in Teams – Keeping People Motivated: King producer Sabrina Carmona will be teaching tips and tricks on how to boost your team and keep them motivated, especially in the world of live games.

There’s plenty more to see and do, including our Big Indie Zone showing off some of the most interesting indies out there, and our Journalist Bar where developers can meet our editorial team and get their games in the hands of the press.

Tickets are still available, so what are you waiting for? Get one today and we’ll see you in London for what is sure to be another fantastic Pocket Gamer Connects!
